Appearance: Pale yellow oil, characteristic odor. Specific Gravity: 0.910-0.920 at 25°C. Refractive Index: 1.470-1.475 at 20°C. Acid Value: ≤ 2.0 mg KOH/g. Saponification Value: 185-200 mg KOH/g. Iodine Value: 95-105 g I₂/100g. Peroxide Value: ≤ 10 meq/kg. Unsaponifiable Matter: ≤ 1.0%. Water Content: ≤ 0.1%. Benzaldehyde Content: 2-4% (characteristic of bitter almond oil). Heavy Metals (as Pb): ≤ 10 ppm. Arsenic (As): ≤ 3 ppm. Fatty Acid Composition: Mainly oleic acid (65-75%), linoleic acid (20-25%).
