Chemicals Properties

Composition: 75 mL Saturated Picric Acid, 25 mL Formaldehyde (37-40%), 5 mL Glacial Acetic Acid. Appearance: Yellow solution with a pungent odor. pH: Highly acidic. Fixation Performance: Excellent for preserving cytoplasmic detail and nuclear morphology, especially for embryos and small tissues. Stability: Stable for 6 months when stored in a tightly closed, dark bottle.
