Product Information

Composition: Dimethylaminoazobenzene (0.5%) and phenolphthalein (0.1%) in 90% ethanol. Gastric acid indicator. Appearance: Red solution.

Chemicals Properties

Composition: 0.5% Dimethylaminoazobenzene and 0.1% Phenolphthalein in 90% Ethanol. Appearance: Clear red solution. pH Transition: Red at pH 2.8-4.4 (due to DAB), colorless at pH >4.4, pink at pH >8.2 (due to PP). Stability: Stable when stored in amber bottle.
